A wonderful working antique mantel clock with a quartz movment installed in place of the original movement, normally I'm not for this change, but this is how I purchased the clock. That said the two holes for winding key access are fit with fake square posts to spears as original, this is the perfect clock for someone that wants that original look but dosent want to wind it every week, clock takes a six c battery and has been tested to work
