These two saucers have been handed down. Their actual origin is completely unknown. I have tried using AI to determine precise origin but with no luck. I can only find that this "could be" transfer ware or Arita ware, or even flow blue. Whether it is either iron stone or porcelain is not clear. They are exactly 4-5/8 inches wide. Notice there is no indent in the middle to hold a teacup, so I have it labeled as a side dish. But, it can also be a plate for a rice bowl. I believe the pattern is a distinctive flower petal design. Notice also the blue around the bottom of the plate. If I find out more, I will add that to my description.
This is now securely packed in a thick cardboard box for better protection during shipment.
