Detecto's portable bariatric scale allows for mobile weighing for various needs including mobile clinics, home healtchare nurses, and doctor's offices. The integral handle makes transporting this scale between locations easy. This scale's platform is 21.5 inches wide to accommodate the broad stances inherent in bariatric patients. The less than two inch high platform and slip-resistant rubber mat provide patient comfort, safety and assurance while weighing. The indicator features an LCD with 1 inch tall digits for easy reading of results. It may be mounted on a wall or placed on a tabletop for optimal viewing. The hold key allows the weight of the patient to be locked after they step off the scale. The tare key allows you to remove the weight of patient-carried items, such as walkers or canes, from their actual weight measurement. This scale can switch between pounds and kilograms. The RS232 port enables communication between printers and computers for data storage. The built-in rechargeable battery pack provides up to 8 hours of continuous use. Optional times for automatic shut-off may also be set to conserve battery life. It can also be powered by the included 120 VAC 60Hz powering a 15 VDC 300mA wall plugin UL/CUL listed power supply.
