Made from a BPA free plastic, this mixing bowl is microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe. Unlike a lot of other batter bowls on the market, ours is light weight. The base is outfitted with a grip base, and we embossed both sides of the bowl with measurements. You can choose to take the handle off by taking a firm grip while wiggling the handle from side to side. This will remove the handle allowing you to store in your freezer or refrigerator and not take up a lot of room. It also will take up less space while in your cabinet for storage.
