Butter yellow background with bright gold accents. Each side has a handpainted panel of pink roses. Fine black pinstripes keep it all crisp. Signed with artist initials and stamped on the bottom.
This is larger than a sugar bowl. The main body is 6 inches wide with a 4 inch opening. It probably held crackers or loose tea. It would be beautiful on a dresser holding jewelry and trinkets or in the bathroom holding cotton balls etc.
No chips, cracks, or breaks. The gold is bright, with minor scratching to one handle, see last picture.
