This Monoprice cable is designed to connect a DisplayPort monitor to an HDMI video source, such as video game consoles, Apple TV, and laptop computers. It complies with the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, providing up to 32.4Gbps and support for video resolutions up to 8K@60Hz. The 10ft DisplayPort connector also features a standard mechanical latch, locking the cable connector to the panel connector. Note that this cable is NOT bidirectional. It only converts HDMI signals to a DisplayPort signal for use with a DisplayPort monitor or video connectivity device, such as a matrix, splitter, or switch.
