The Lindy Cat.6A HDMI® 4K60 & Type C HDBaseT 3.0 KVM Extender is a reliable and powerful solution for extending AV and data signals over long distances via a Cat.6A network cable. The following distance and resolution combinations are possible by using a high-quality U/UTP or F/UTP cable Cat.6A or higher: 40m: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit 70m: 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4bit / 4 : 2:2. 12bit Support for uncompressed resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD allows you to watch videos in stunning clarity, while the additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows you to view content with greater brightness, stronger black and white contrasts, and a much wider color gamut. The 4K scale reduction function at 1080p is also supported on the HDMI output. The user can connect a Type-C or HDMI® input (with USB) to control any source such as a PC or laptop. The Type-C port also supports a 60W power supply supplied directly from the transmitter by simply connecting the included power supply. It is possible to switch from one input to another by pressing the transmitter button, the automatic switching function is also supported. The PoC (Power over Cable) function with on/off switch provides additional flexibility. It allows the device to be supplied with data simultaneously over a Cat.6A network cable in a point-to-point connection between transmitter and receiver, which means that only one power supply is required on one side of the installation. Analog 3.5mm audio outputs with decoding function for connecting speakers or amplifiers to both units, DIP switch EDID with presets and copy function on the transmitter. Bi-directional IR ports on both sides of the configuration, the source device can be easily controlled from the side of the screen, and the screen can also be controlled from the side of the HDMI source. This extension allows full control for the user by deploying APIs to RS-232 or USB Micro B ports. HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for the high-quality distribution of audiovisual content and other technologies, including power and control, over long distances over a Cat.6 cable or higher at a low cost.
