Positive displacement syringe for use with liquids. A tungsten plunger wire travels inside the needle, eliminating dead volume. Knurled hubs are used exclusively on the 7000 Series syringes allowing 6000 psig maximum injection pressures. These hubs also allow the attachment of a spacer for repeatable injection depths. Point style 2 needles are beveled, non-coring needle points for septum penetration. Point style 3 needles are recommended for HPLC injection valves and for sample pipetting. Repair kits for knurled hub (KH) syringes containing needle, ferrule and plunger are available on special order.
