Empty the tank of fuel. 2. Lift up the check valve collar to disconnect the fuel line from the check valve quick connect. · DO NOT loose the "nut"(actually it is a seat) with a spanner wrench, nothing will happen but destroy the fuel line by being twisted. · Sprayed a little silicone lubricant inside the valve is not a must, but makes the removal job more easier.  3. Remove the upper o-ring(small one). Press up the valve pin in the center, which is seated under a spring, and pick out the upper o-ring used a sharp tip hook at the same time. · Keep the valve pin being pressed up(with a screwdriver or a rod) · Prepare a tool with a sharp tip in angles(less than 90°), an o-ring pick tool or bent steel wire · Insert the tool tip into the gap between the o-ring and the valve core to the end, ensures the tip can hook up the edge of the o-ring. · Slide the tip along the o-ring groove clockwise for serveral rotations, until the tip can hook up and lift the o-ring. Important: DO keep pressing the valve pin up until the upper o-ring being picked out, or you will not make any efforts.  4. Use a needle nose plier to pull out the valve core and spring components.  5. Remove the lower o-ring(large one). Insert and slide the tip along the groove clockwise for serveral rotations, until the tip can hook up and lift the o-ring. Pull out. 6. Do some clean and lubricate work. Replace and Install: 1. Assemble the spring and valve core. Align and insert the spring(small spiral end) into the valve core hole which is located on the top. 2. Push valve core and the spring(large spiral end) into the central hole until it is proper seated. 3. Install the upper o-ring. Push the o-ring into the valve, uniform its shape with tool, ensuring it is completely seated in the groove, not falling off. 4. Install the lower o-ring. Push and make sure there is uniform stretching of the o-ring and do not just pull only on one side of it. Use a tool if necessary to ensure the o-ring evenly seat and fit snugly in the groove without being twisted or deformed. 5. Lift up the check valve collar to connect with the fuel line until it clicks in place.
