The HHT digital stroboscope offers dependable and precise speed measurements, along with stop-motion diagnostic inspection. A rotary encoder facilitates swift, accurate frequency setting between 30 and 20,000 flashes per minute. The crystal-controlled circuitry prevents drift, ensuring readings accurate to 0.1 rpm. 'Divide by 2' and 'Multiply by 2' buttons allow users to verify actual rpm. 'Phase +' and 'Phase -' buttons enable adding or subtracting internal phase delays to keep the reference viewing target in sight. 'Adder Mode' enables visual inspection for misalignments or bent odd-numbered fan blades, propellers, etc. In 'Tach' mode, the unit uses external sensors to measure up to 250,000 rpm directly without strobe flashing. Up to 6 preset memory values can be recalled, and the unit remembers the last measured value. A 'Charge' indicator displays remaining battery life, with a microprocessor-controlled charging circuit ensuring extended battery life.
