It has many modes to shoot in. Shutter Priorty Aperture Priority auto Program and full manual and a lot of other shooting options video and pano setting. witch is rare on smaller digicams of this time. The flash folds open and closed when you don't want to use it. Also has face detect auto focus. I enjoyed using this camera but I'm in the business of giving these 2000s era cameras new owners and new life. It take 2 AA batteries I've just been using rechargeable aa batts and it last a long time.
