See pics. Measures almost 2.5 inches long. C clasp.

Paste is a hand cut leaded crystal stone developed in the 1700’s. It sparkles much more than rhinestones.

Much of the beauty and appeal of antique Paste jewellery is that it was such a difficult and labour-intensive thing to produce. The special Paste glass was cut and polished by hand so that is shone and glittered.

It first became a popular material during the Georgian era (1714-1837), when, as early as 1675, George Ravenscroft developed a hard, leaded glass composite.

I put condition as good due to age. It is functional. It is antique.
