Authentic, beautiful ring is nearly 100 years old, made using 1000-year-old artistic techniques.
Like similar rings of this era & style, it is fully adjustable.
Damascene artwork & jewelry are renowned in Spain (see Pic #9 for details), & most pieces feature themes associated with that country, including this ring which showcases a beautifully detailed & exceedingly popular bullfighting scene.
Damascening involves inlaying wire into bronze, iron or steel. The black base in this ring is steel which has been heavily oxidized over high heat.
This ring 2is in fantastic condition. Has fine, clear details & no loss of decoration. The triangular frame is securely welded to the ring, & the tabs hold the decorative black artwork firmly with no indication of loosening. The bottom of the ring where the ends meet has minor loss of plating, likely from friction over the decades.
Each side is about 7/8” length
